The historic city of York, England, was left partially underwater after Storm Bram caused the Ouse River to overflow. Streets, avenues, and some homes in the city center experienced temporary flooding, creating striking images of the river’s surge.
Following Storm Bram, the water levels of the Ouse River rose rapidly, flooding central streets and avenues. Vehicles were partially submerged, and sidewalks disappeared under the water. Walking paths and park areas near the river were temporarily unusable.
