Türkiye expressed satisfaction over the peaceful conduct of Bangladesh’s National Parliament elections and a referendum on constitutional amendments, the Foreign Ministry said in a written statement.

The ministry said it welcomed the fact that both the general elections and the referendum on reforms, which included constitutional changes, were carried out smoothly.

The statement noted that observers from Türkiye also followed both the election and the referendum process.
