Ukrainian drones reportedly targeted another Wildberries logistics facility in Russia on Saturday, extending a weeklong campaign against the country’s largest online retailer as overnight Russian and Ukrainian strikes killed three people and injured six others.
Ukrainian media, citing Telegram channels, reported that drones reached a Wildberries logistics center in Yekaterinburg.
Sverdlovsk regional Gov. Denis Pasler said air defenses repelled a drone attack, with falling debris causing a 300-square-meter fire in a parking lot in the city’s Chkalovsky district. He said no injuries or infrastructure damage were reported.
Wildberries said the logistics complex was not damaged. The company temporarily suspended operations after carrying out a planned evacuation under its safety procedures and said normal operations were expected to resume soon.
The reported Yekaterinburg attack followed a series of Ukrainian drone strikes targeting Wildberries logistics centers over the past week.
Facilities in the Tambov, Moscow and Stavropol regions were targeted, along with sites near St. Petersburg and in Simferopol in annexed Crimea.
The attacks have caused casualties and disrupted operations at multiple logistics centers.
Independent verification of claims by either side remains difficult because of the continuing war.
Russian overnight attacks killed two people in Ukraine’s Sumy region and one person in Kherson, regional authorities said.
Sumy regional Gov. Oleh Hryhorov said a Russian strike damaged civilian infrastructure, warehouses and vehicles.
Kherson regional Gov. Oleksandr Prokudin said one person was killed when Russian forces shelled the city’s central district early Saturday.
Ukraine’s Air Force said Russia launched two guided missiles and 157 drones overnight. It said 128 aerial targets were intercepted or suppressed over northern, southern, eastern and central Ukraine.
Russia’s Defense Ministry said its forces carried out overnight strikes using precision-guided air-launched weapons and drones against what it described as military-related targets at Ukrainian ports.
The ministry said a cargo ship unloading supplies for the Ukrainian military was hit at the port of Mykolaiv.
It said port infrastructure used for unloading and storing military cargo was struck in Odesa, while fuel storage facilities and a warehouse containing military equipment were targeted at the port of Izmail.
Five people were injured in what Rostov regional Gov. Yury Slyusar described as a “massive” Ukrainian air attack.
Slyusar said Russian air defenses intercepted drones and missiles across the region, but falling debris damaged civilian infrastructure and sparked fires at several buildings.
One person was injured in Russia’s Belgorod region after a Ukrainian strike hit a commercial building, local authorities said.
A separate attack caused a fire at an apartment building, which authorities later extinguished.
Russia’s Defense Ministry said its forces intercepted and destroyed 328 Ukrainian drones over Russian territory, annexed Crimea and the Sea of Azov.
The latest attacks came as both countries accused each other of launching overnight strikes involving hundreds of drones and missiles.
Russian authorities said air defenses responded across several regions, while Ukrainian officials reported interceptions over multiple parts of the country.
