Xayrullo Shamuratov

Xayrullo Shamuratov is Head of the Information Service of the Takhiatash District Administration (hokimlik) in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Uzbekistan, where he is responsible for public communication, media relations and cooperation with the district's mahalla institutions. He is also a postgraduate researcher in psychology at Berdakh Karakalpak State University in Nukus. He writes on regional development, interethnic relations and civic life in Central Asia.
