Turkish Airlines denies reports of talks to acquire Pakistan International Airlines

Turkish Airlines (THY) has officially denied reports suggesting that it was in talks to acquire Pakistan International Airlines (PIA).

In a statement released by THY’s Press Advisor Yahya Ustun, the airline emphasized that the rumors circulating in various media outlets do not reflect the truth.

"The news in various media outlets that our partnership is in talks to acquire Pakistan International Airline does not reflect the truth. Our partnership has no initiative in this direction," Ustun said on his social media account.

The airline made it clear that there are no ongoing negotiations or plans related to acquiring PIA.
