Türkiye’s hazelnut exports reached $1,919,691,000 in the January-September period, bringing in revenue from overseas sales across the first nine months of 2026.
The Black Sea Hazelnut and Products Exporters’ Union released the figures in a statement covering the Jan. 1-Sept. 30, 2026 export period.
Exporters shipped 152,543 tons of hazelnuts abroad during that timeframe, the union said.
In the same period of the previous year, sales totaled 187,618 tons and earned $1,600,204,000, the union noted.
Hazelnut shipments during Sept. 1-30, 2026 totaled 18,929 tons and earned $192,083,755, according to the union’s written statement.
During the same month last year, Türkiye exported 13,926 tons and earned $143,978,657, the statement added.
