The 10th International Bodrum Jazz Festival opens June 15 in Bodrum, running through June 28 under the theme "Jazz Is Universal."

Organized by Jazz Association, the festival spans 14 days and brings together concerts, panel discussions, exhibitions and special events at venues across the Aegean resort town.

The opening night will take place June 15, at Very Chic Bodrum, beginning at 8 p.m. with a press reception and plaque ceremony, followed by a performance by the Dilek Sert Erdogan Hammond Band featuring Yavuz Daridere.

A milestone edition

Reaching its 10th year, the festival carries added significance beyond its concert program. Jazz Association, president and festival curator Ozlem Oktar Varoglu, said the edition marks "the tenth anniversary of artistic excellence, international collaboration and cultural dialogue."

Varoglu described the festival as a reflection of jazz music's spirit, shaped by themes of migration, resilience, cooperation and freedom, and said it has grown into a significant meeting point for cultural diplomacy.

The festival was selected for membership in the World Jazz Network in 2026 and holds the EFFE Label from the European Festivals Association. It has also maintained a sister-festival relationship with the Rhodes and South Aegean International Jazz Festival for eight years.

Where events take place

Performances and events are distributed across multiple venues, including Dibeklihan Kultur ve Sanat Koyu, Bodrum ModRoom, Inspera Bodrum Kultur Sanat, Laguna Lounge, Mor Salkım Bagları, The Marmara Bodrum Pera 77 Pop Up, Metrekup Bodrum, Karabatak and Anthaven.

The festival receives support from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism's General Directorate of Copyright, Mugla Metropolitan Municipality, Bodrum Municipality, Mugla Sitkı Kocman University, the Dutch and Polish embassies, the World Jazz Network and the Rhodes and South Aegean International Jazz Festival.
