Fall 2026 brings three major rock comebacks, all confirmed by the artists themselves. Anthrax will open the season, followed by Tom Morello, and Nickelback closing out the run.
Anthrax will release ''Cursum Perficio'' on Sept. 18, the band's 12th studio album and its first in 10 years since 2016's ''For All Kings.''
The album was recorded at Dave Grohl's Studio 606 with producer Jay Ruston and will be released through Nuclear Blast and Megaforce Records.
Guitarist Scott Ian said the record was originally meant to be made back in 2020, but the pandemic delayed those plans. He described the band's return to the studio afterward as an emotional experience, saying the album's title "feels like Anthrax" and reflects everything they went through to finish it.

Three singles have been released ahead of the album, "It's for the Kids," "The Edge of Perfection," and "Everybody's Got a Plan."
Tom Morello will release ''Everyone Gets Everything They Want'' on Sept. 25, his first-ever solo rock album, released via Mom + Pop Music.
The record features guest appearances from Serj Tankian, Kneecap, Beartooth, and Morello's son, Roman Morello, and confronts themes of fascism, immigrant rights, and global political turmoil.
The album was previewed with the single "Date Night," inspired by the true story of Dutch resistance fighters who fought Nazi occupation during World War II.
Speaking about the song, Morello described it as a "which side are you on?" statement, saying he makes anti-fascist music for anti-fascists and anti-Nazi music for anti-Nazis.
Nickelback will release ''Everything Under the Sun'' on Oct. 30, the band's 11th studio album and first release since 2022's ''Get Rollin''.
The album marks Nickelback's debut release under Virgin Music Group and was announced alongside the lead single "Rattle the Cage," featuring Motley Crue guitarist John 5.
