Following weeks of speculation sparked by cryptic postcards spotted in both countries, Radiohead have confirmed a 21-show tour across Australia and Japan for May and June 2027.

The band's first time playing either country in over a decade.

Radiohead unveiled the full run of dates on Monday afternoon.

The tour kicks off at Perth's RAC Arena from May 3 to 7, before moving on to six-night residencies at Melbourne's Rod Laver Arena from May 13 to 20 and Sydney's Afterpay Arena from May 25 to June 1—16 shows in Australia in total.

The band will then head to Japan for five shows at Saitama's GMO Arena, a large venue just north of Tokyo, running from June 8 to 13, bringing the full tour to 21 shows across four cities.

The announcement comes exactly a year after Radiohead revealed their fall 2025 European tour, which marked the band's return to the stage after a seven-year gap.

As with that run, the new dates will see the band play consecutive nights at a handful of venues rather than the usual city-hopping tour, four shows at Perth's RAC Arena, followed by residencies in Melbourne and Sydney, before wrapping up with five nights at Saitama's GMO Arena, just outside Tokyo, starting June 8.

Radiohead haven't toured Australia since 2012, and their last headline shows in Japan came in October 2008 during the In Rainbows tour, though they did make a subsequent appearance at Japan's Summer Sonic Festival in 2016.
