Rapper Kanye West performed his first-ever concert in Georgia on Friday, drawing 70,000 fans to a sold-out stadium in Tbilisi days after his record-setting show in Türkiye.

All tickets for the concert at Boris Paichadze Dinamo Arena were sold, according to organizers. Thousands more gathered on streets surrounding the venue after missing out on tickets.

Fans pack stadium for Georgia debut

Fans began lining up hours before gates opened, with crowds forming around the stadium from midday. The audience included both Georgian concertgoers and visitors who traveled to the country for the event.

The concert started at 5:30 p.m. GMT (9:30 p.m. local time) and was streamed live on West's official YouTube channel. While 70,000 people packed the stadium, many others watched from outside as crowds spilled into nearby areas around the venue.

Authorities rolled out extensive security measures ahead of the concert as large crowds gathered near the stadium. Several roads around Dinamo Arena were closed to both vehicle and pedestrian traffic, allowing police to manage movement around the venue and maintain public safety throughout the event.

The Tbilisi performance came shortly after West's concert in Türkiye, which drew significant attention and marked one of the biggest appearances of his recent international tour.

The Georgia concert came less than two weeks after West drew 118,000 fans to Istanbul's Ataturk Olympic Stadium, a show widely reported as a record-setting stadium concert attendance.

The Türkiye performance marked West's first European appearance in more than a decade and attracted visitors from countries including UK, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Italy, Russia and Poland.
