Amy Pascal, the former Sony Pictures chair who is a producer on the project, has given the clearest timeline yet for the next era of 007.
He revealed to entertainment channel Deadline that fans can expect the new James Bond to be announced by the end of the year.

While both Turner and Elordi remain in the conversation, Turner has declined to comment on the subject. Elordi publicly addressed the rumors during a 2023 interview with Extra TV, calling the internet casting speculation beautiful and expressing appreciation for simply being considered for such iconic roles.
No official casting decisions have been confirmed yet.
