Los Angeles Chargers star quarterback Justin Herbert and Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Madison Beer are engaged.
The couple announced the news Tuesday in a joint Instagram post, sharing a series of photos from the proposal. One image highlights the 28-year-old National Football League (NFL) player on one knee holding a ring box in front of a smiling Beer, 27, who is crouched in front of him.
The post was captioned, "Meet my fiance."
Well-wishes poured in from NFL, the Chargers, and singers Gracie Abrams, Tate McRae, and Zara Larsson, along with Hailey Bieber, among others.
Beer's mother, Tracie Beer, also shared a heartfelt message for the couple: "My heart is glowing. My soul is fulfilled. My eyes won't stop watering with tears of joy."
The two were first seen together in public in August 2025. Beer became a regular presence at Chargers games throughout last season, and the couple has also been photographed at Dodgers and Lakers games around Los Angeles.
Herbert appeared in Beer's music video for ''lovergirl,'' a track from her album ''Locket (Deluxe),'' released in May 2026. In the video, the couple is shown embracing and walking together along a beach.
Beer discussed the relationship in June on the ''Therapuss with Jake Shane'' podcast, saying Herbert entered her life ''at the perfect time.''
