The Swedish power metal band Sabaton will perform in Istanbul on Oct. 6, bringing their trademark blend of heavy riffs, soaring melodies, and epic storytelling to the Zorlu Performing Arts Center.
Founded in 1999 in Falun, Sweden, Sabaton has become one of the most influential names in the global metal scene. Their music is known for weaving together thunderous rhythms with narratives drawn from military history, heroism, and the endurance of humanity.
Sabaton’s rise began with the release of "Primo Victoria" in 2005, an album that redefined the power metal landscape. Since then, the band has released several acclaimed works, including "The Art of War," "Carolus Rex," "Heroes," "The Last Stand," "The Great War," and their most recent record, "The War to End All Wars." Each album has strengthened their reputation as musical chroniclers of historic struggles and resilience.
The concert comes just days before the release of Sabaton’s upcoming album "Legends," scheduled to launch on Oct. 17. Fans in Istanbul will have the rare chance to hear the band live at a pivotal moment in their musical journey.
The evening will open with a performance by Udo Dirkschneider, best known as the former frontman of the German heavy metal band Accept. His presence will add another layer of anticipation to a night set to deliver powerful performances and a celebration of metal music at its finest.
