Turkish actor Tuba Buyukustun served as president of the international jury at the sixth Marrakech Short Film Festival in Morocco, where she also led a masterclass for local film lovers.
Buyukustun shared photos from the festival on social media, calling the experience an honor.
"Unforgettable moments from the Marrakech Short Film Festival," she wrote. "As president of the international jury, I was honored to be part of the festival."
The actress shared the jury duties with Alice Kharoubi and Daniela Stephan, and she said she was glad to work alongside them.
Throughout the festival, Buyukustun attended short film screenings and evaluated the entries with her fellow jurors. She also met filmmakers from different countries.
Before the festival's closing ceremony, Buyukustun held a masterclass for cinema fans in Marrakech.
She has worked on international projects and served on juries at film festivals around the world in recent years.
"Sultana," directed by Ali Kemal Guven, had its world premiere at the 45th Istanbul Film Festival in April and has streamed on Prime Video since Sept. 17.
Buyukustun plays Meral and leads an ensemble cast that includes Derya Pinar Ak.
"Soy," a horror film directed by Maxime Alexandre and shot entirely in Istanbul, opens in theaters Oct. 9. She stars alongside Farah Zeynep Abdullah, Baris Arduc and Tamer Levent.
