The Turkish drama series "Bambaska Biri," starring Burak Deniz and Hande Ercel, will be available to viewers in South Korea on the streaming platform TVING under the title "Another Love."
TVING is one of South Korea’s leading digital platforms. The new title suggests the platform is aiming at the country’s large audience for romantic dramas.
The show is a romantic mystery drama directed by Neslihan Yesilyurt and produced by Tims&B Production.
Ercel plays Leyla Gediz, a sharp and determined prosecutor, while Deniz plays Kenan Ozturk, a popular TV news anchor who struggles with multiple personalities.
The series reunited the two actors, who had worked together before on the 2016 series "Ask Laftan Anlamaz."
Deniz and Ercel, two of Türkiye’s best-known screen actors, share the lead roles.
The series’ arrival on TVING adds to the growing number of Turkish productions finding audiences outside their home market.
Turkish dramas have been exported to dozens of countries across the Middle East, Latin America and Europe for more than a decade, and platforms in East Asia have increasingly sought them out.
TVING has not announced a premiere date or episode schedule for the South Korean release.
