Turkish rock singer Sebnem Ferah performed before around 52,000 fans in Ankara, returning to the capital's stage after a break of more than six years.
Ferah, who resumed live performances this year, appeared at the Ataturk Orman Ciftligi Concert Area after earlier concerts in Istanbul and Izmir.
Tickets sold out on the day they went on sale, while long lines formed outside the venue hours before the concert. Ferah was met with loud applause as she took the stage.
The concert opened with visuals built around a phoenix metaphor, with moments from Ferah's music career projected onto LED screens.
She began with "Cakil Taslari" and "Baska Bir Yol Var," before moving through some of her best-known songs, including "Can Kiriklari," "Sil Bastan," "Sigara," "Bu Ask Fazla Sana," "Mayin Tarlasi," "Ben Sarkimi Soylerken" and "Deli Kizim Uyan."
Fans filling the venue sang along to songs released across different periods of Ferah's career.
She was joined on stage by Ozan Tugen on keyboards, Buket Doran on bass guitar, Aykan Ilkan on drums, Serdar Barcin on wind instruments, Baris Manisa on guitar and Ceren Tugen Akdeniz on backing vocals.
During the first part of the concert, Ferah told the audience that she would keep the talking section brief because of the cold weather and continue with the music.
She also thanked the audience for coming and choosing to spend the evening together.
Ferah's concert series will continue with performances in Antalya on Oct. 10, Istanbul on Oct. 17, Bursa on Oct. 24, Adana on Oct. 31 and Istanbul again on Nov. 7.
