Istanbul's Zorlu Performing Arts Center (Zorlu PSM) is inviting culture lovers behind the scenes with its new season of the "Unseen Extreme Tour," a more dynamic, adrenaline-charged edition of its popular backstage experience.
Open to guests aged 18 and up, the tour takes visitors on a guided, 5,000-step journey through the venue's inner workings.
Along the way, they get a close-up look at the preparation process behind theater productions and musicals, lighting and sound systems, costume workshops, set-design areas, and artists' dressing rooms.
Unlike the standard Unseen Tour, the extreme edition pushes further, leading small groups through narrow passageways and elevated walkways high above the stage floor, including areas like the rigging grid and the catwalk above the main stage.
It's a more intense, close-up look at how a live show actually comes together.
Group sizes are kept deliberately small, five guests per tour, to preserve an intimate atmosphere.
The concept design is by I-AM Istanbul, with curation by Bengu Gun and installation and experience design by artist Bilal Yilmaz.
Tickets for the limited-capacity tour are available through Passo.
For families, the venue also runs Unseen Kids, a shorter interactive version designed for children aged 8–12, complete with UV-light puzzles and a scavenger-hunt format that guides young visitors through the theater's backstage secrets.
