The definitive cause of death for Turkish actress Ece Irtem has been identified as alcohol poisoning, according to the completed autopsy report from Türkiye's Forensic Medicine Institute.
Famous for her portrayal of Isil in the hit television series "One Love" (known locally as "Kizilcik Serbeti"), Irtem suddenly passed away at her Istanbul residence on June 15, 2026, at the age of 35.
While initial medical evaluations attributed her death to a heart attack, her lawyer noted at the time that the precise cause remained pending until full forensic validation.
Born in Sivas on Jan. 5, 1991, Irtem graduated from Yasar University's Opera and Singing Department before receiving acting training. She began her television career in 2014 and went on to appear in several productions, including "Kacak Gelinler," "O Hayat Benim," "Yeni Gelin," "Payitaht Abdulhamid," "Bay Yanlis," "Mahkum," and "Yasak Elma."
