Formula 1 driver Yuki Tsunoda shared a new social media post from Istanbul on April 30, days after taking part in a Red Bull demonstration run tied to Türkiye’s announced return to the Formula 1 calendar.
Posting from Istanbul, Tsunoda used the caption “Istan-beautiful 🇹🇷”, sharing a set of 13 photos from his visit to the city.
The post followed an event held on April 24, when Türkiye’s return to Formula 1 was formally announced at the Presidential Dolmabahce Working Office.
Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated that the Turkish Grand Prix would be held annually from 2027 for five consecutive years.
The races are set to take place at Istanbul Park, the circuit that previously hosted Formula 1 races in Türkiye.
After the announcement, attention moved from the official event to the streets of Istanbul, where Tsunoda drove a Red Bull Formula 1 car through a controlled public route.
The run began at Galataport Istanbul, a major waterfront development, and continued along the shoreline before ending at the Dolmabahce Presidential Office.
The demonstration brought the sound of Formula 1 back to Istanbul’s coastal roads and gave spectators a public preview connected to the sport’s planned return.
Tsunoda’s April 30 post extended the visibility of the event beyond the demonstration itself, presenting Istanbul through his own visit and linking the city once again with Formula 1’s return to Türkiye.
The short caption, “Istan-beautiful,” quickly framed the visit around the city’s visual appeal while keeping the focus on the Formula 1 moment that took place days earlier.
