Asena Keskinci has joined the cast of hit Turkish television drama "Kizilcik Serbeti" (One Love), taking over the role of Cimen following Selin Turkmen's departure from the series.
The casting change comes as the ratings-leading production heads into its new season with several major updates to its ensemble. A few high-profile names such as Feyza Civelek, Ceren Karakoc and Neslihan Yeldan have also exited the project alongside Turkmen, while the identity of the actress set to take over the role of Cimen had remained uncertain until now.
According to journalist Birsen Altuntas, Cimen will remain part of the storyline despite Turkmen leaving the production, with Keskinci stepping in to portray the character during the new season.
The move adds another change to a cast that has been reshaped following several departures around the season finale.
Keskinci first became widely known during her childhood through her role as Yagmur in the television series Bez Bebek and later continued her career across several different productions.
Most recently, she took on the leading role in the HBO Max series Jasmine, where the production's sexually explicit and provocative scenes drew considerable attention on social media.
Her next television role will now see her step into the established character of Cimen in "Kizilcik Serbeti".
