The Ministry of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change's Meteorology General Directorate has issued a nationwide warning as cold and rainy weather is expected to persist, with agricultural frost likely in several regions.
Meteorology expert Abdullah Macit emphasized the need for citizens and farmers to exercise caution.
According to the Meteorology General Directorate, intermittent rain and showers will continue across Türkiye from Tuesday through Friday, with thunderstorms in southern regions.
Snowfall is expected in the highlands of Eastern Anatolia, and certain northeastern areas may experience heavy snow.
Macit highlighted that from Wednesday evening, dropping temperatures combined with cold air will bring agricultural frost to parts of Marmara, the interior of the Black Sea region, and northern and eastern Central Anatolia.
He stressed that the risk may extend through the weekend and urged precautionary measures.
