At 2,400 meters above sea level in Agri’s Taslicay district, Sinek Plateau turns into a rare natural spectacle where winter refuses to leave and spring refuses to wait.
Snow still clings to the high peaks while fresh green valleys begin to wake below, placing two seasons side by side in a single sweeping landscape.
Even at the end of spring, the snow in the region has not fully melted. Instead, it remains on the mountain peaks, creating a striking contrast with the awakening greenery in the lower areas.
As the snow begins to melt, small ponds have formed in parts of the plateau. Known for its rich water resources, Sinek Plateau transforms into a landscape shaped by flowing meltwater and renewed land.
During the summer months, the plateau hosts thousands of small livestock and nomadic herders. Even at the end of May, it remains vibrant and alive, balancing traces of winter with the freshness of spring.
Captured by drone footage, the plateau’s dramatic seasonal contrast highlights its unique beauty, where two seasons appear to exist side by side in a single breathtaking view.
