3.4-magnitude earthquake shakes Türkiye’s Aegean coast

A 3.4-magnitude earthquake struck off the coast of the Datca district in Mugla province, Turkiye, early Sunday morning, shaking the Aegean Sea region.

Details from seismic authorities

According to Kandilli Observatory, the quake occurred at 09:13 local time at a depth of 6 kilometers (3.7 miles).

The Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) reported a slightly lower magnitude of 3.2 for the same tremor.

No immediate reports of damage or casualties have been announced.
