'All necessary measures taken'

Erdogan stated that all necessary measures have been taken to prevent any situation that would threaten Türkiye's security.

He emphasized that clearing Aleppo of YPG elements is an important gain for establishing lasting peace, tranquility, and security in Syria, noting that despite the maximalist and irrational demands of the terrorist organization's extension in Syria, the Syrian government is acting with an inclusive understanding.

He noted that the continuation of this approach would be in the interest of the Syrian people.

Underlining the importance of neighborly relations, Erdogan said, "We cannot allow the brotherhood between Turks, Arabs, and Kurds to be broken. We must manage this process with sensitivity. We must be careful against provocations."

'Historic opportunity' for March 10 agreement

Erdogan said the recent developments in Aleppo present a historic opportunity for the implementation of the March 10 agreement.

He lastly emphasized that Türkiye is determined to continue its efforts in this direction.
