Multiple popular mobile applications in Türkiye were compromised Tuesday evening, with hackers sending push notifications reading "NO SYSTEM IS SAFE" to users across the country.
The coordinated attack targeted Nays, a banking application; Domino's Pizza, LCW fashion retailer, and Fenerbahce football club mobile applications. Users with these apps installed on their phones began receiving identical notifications with the ominous message, suggesting an organized cyber operation. The hackers appeared to reference the 2014 film "Who Am I - No System Is Safe," using the movie's tagline and similar masked imagery.
The identity of the hackers remains unknown, with no individual or group claiming responsibility for the breach. However, the simultaneous targeting of multiple unrelated applications indicates a coordinated effort rather than isolated incidents.
None of the affected companies have issued public statements regarding the security compromise. Nays, Domino's Pizza, LCW, and Fenerbahce have not responded to requests for comment about the extent of the breach or measures being taken to secure their systems.
Security researchers warn that additional applications may be affected as the investigation continues. While users have so far reported receiving the threatening notifications from only the four confirmed apps, the number of compromised applications could increase as more victims come forward.
