Taner Tolga Tarlaci, a former contestant on the Turkish edition of the reality television show "Survivor," has called on Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, U.S. President Donald Trump and Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis for help in a video reportedly recorded in prison in Greek Cyprus.
Tarlaci is serving an 18-year prison sentence after being convicted of robbery, assault and sexual assault charges connected to incidents in the Greek Cypriot-controlled part of the island.
In the footage, Tarlaci directly appealed to the three political leaders to step in, saying, “I am asking Donald Trump, President Erdogan and Mitsotakis for help.”
The former television personality became widely known in Türkiye through "Survivor," a reality competition in which participants face physical challenges and elimination rounds while living under difficult conditions.
Tarlaci had previously drawn attention following his conviction and imprisonment in Greek Cyprus. The newly released video has brought his situation back into the public spotlight.
