Famous Turkish actor Ceyhun Mengiroglu reportedly disappeared after accumulating millions in debt from banks and private lenders, allegedly leaving the country for Bali with his wife, Sena Mengiroglu.
Mengiroglu, known for roles in popular TV series, is said to have taken a ₺5 million ($121.11 million) bank loan, spent ₺1.5 million on credit cards, and borrowed another ₺10 million from private investors, claiming he would make investments.
Despite posting vacation photos online, creditors have reportedly been unable to reach Mengiroglu. When contacted, his wife allegedly told lenders, “We are divorced. I don’t know where Ceyhun is. Do not call me again.”
Recent social media posts from the couple in Bali have raised further questions about the whereabouts of Mengiroglu and the status of his financial obligations. Authorities and creditors in Türkiye continue to monitor the situation.
