Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister Ambassador Mehmet Kemal Bozay and Greek Deputy Foreign Minister Ambassador Alexandra Papadopoulou met in Ankara to discuss bilateral relations between the two countries.
The Foreign Ministry published a joint statement following the political dialogue meeting between the deputy foreign ministers of Türkiye and Greece.
The statement noted that Bozay and Papadopoulou held their fourth Political Dialogue Meeting in Ankara, where they addressed various aspects of bilateral relations.
The officials evaluated developments in bilateral relations since their last meeting, in preparation for the sixth High-Level Cooperation Council planned to be held in Türkiye.
Bozay and Papadopoulou also discussed current developments regarding regional and international issues, according to the statement.
The meeting was held in a positive atmosphere, with both sides reaffirming their joint commitment to further develop areas of bilateral and international cooperation.
