Turkish defense industry to participate in INDO Defence 2025 Jakarta exhibition

Turkish defense industry companies, led by the Presidency of Defense Industries (SSB), will participate in the INDO Defence 2025 exhibition scheduled for June 11-14 in Jakarta, Indonesia.

According to SSB's announcement, INDO Defence 2025, one of Southeast Asia's largest defense industry fairs, will be hosted by Indonesia's Ministry of Defense under the theme "defense partnerships for global peace and stability."

The four-day event expects participation from official delegations and defense industry manufacturers from around the world, particularly from Southeast Asian countries.

Türkiye achieves highest company participation

Under SSB leadership and with support from the Defense and Aviation Industry Exporters' Association (SSI), 29 Turkish defense industry companies will participate in INDO Defence 2025.

This figure makes Türkiye the country with the highest participation among 32 nations maintaining national pavilions at the exhibition.

Turkish participants include 3E Elektro Optik Sistemler, ABRAMAK, Aeromac, Anova, Armelsan, Aselsan, Assan, Baykar, Efor Global, ELSIS, Garanti Giyim, Havelsan, Karmetal, Kayaci Savunma, Koluman, MKE, Nurol Makina, Repkon, Roketsan, Sarsilmaz, SDT, Sensorsan, STM, TAIS, Timsan, Transvaro, TURMAKS, TUSAS and YONTECH (Yonca Teknik).

Major defense systems exhibition expected

The exhibition will feature 1,157 companies from 60 countries displaying products and systems across 70,000 square meters, with over 40,000 professional visitors expected to attend.

During the fair, Turkish defense industry companies will showcase various unmanned ground and aerial vehicles, armored vehicle platforms, weapon systems, naval systems, electronic systems, ammunition, simulators and logistics support products.

Advanced technological capabilities information will be shared and cooperation opportunities will be evaluated.

STM to display national defense technologies

STM will introduce military naval platforms and tactical mini-UAV systems developed with national capabilities at INDO Defence 2025.

The company, which has achieved significant export success in the Turkish defense industry with national and innovative systems, will participate with military naval platforms and tactical mini-UAV systems.

STM, which builds surface and submarine platforms for the Turkish Naval Forces Command as well as Ukrainian, Pakistani, Portuguese and Malaysian navies, will showcase six naval projects in Indonesia.

Featured systems include STM NETA, Türkiye's national unmanned autonomous underwater vehicle currently undergoing successful sea trials, and STM500, Türkiye's first national submarine design for special operations and assault purposes.

New coast guard vessel design unveiled

The Malaysian Corvette (LMS Batch-2), representing Türkiye's first and only corvette export to the Asia Pacific region, will be displayed alongside the Istif-class national frigate project (TCG ISTANBUL), Pakistan naval supply tanker, and STM MPAC attack boat.

STM will introduce its CG-78 coast guard vessel design for the first time at this exhibition.

STM, a pioneer in tactical mini-UAV systems in Türkiye and globally, will present KARGU, Türkiye's first national strike UAV exported to more than 10 countries across three continents, featuring anti-personnel and armor-piercing warhead options.

The company will also showcase TOGAN reconnaissance UAV, which has entered the Turkish Armed Forces inventory and is actively used in counterterrorism operations with export success, along with BOYGA ammunition-dropping UAV.
