Foreign Ministry issued its strongest condemnation Friday of a terror attack in Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province that killed 12 soldiers.
The ministry expressed "deep sorrow" over the casualties from the attack in the northwestern Pakistani province, according to a written statement released Friday.
"We condemn this heinous terror attack in the strongest terms and pray to Allah for mercy for those who lost their lives," the Foreign Ministry said in its official statement.
The incident occurred in the South Waziristan region of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, where 12 soldiers were killed in the terror attack.
The statement reflects Türkiye's ongoing diplomatic support for Pakistan amid regional security challenges. Both countries have faced similar threats from terrorist organizations operating along volatile border regions.
