Visuals prepared by Türkiye's Communications Directorate were displayed at high-visibility locations across Ankara and Istanbul following the signing of the Mecca Joint Defense Agreement by Pakistan, Türkiye, and Saudi Arabia on Aug. 7.
As part of the campaign, special content on the Agreement appeared on the digital platforms of the Presidency of Communications building in Ankara, as well as the digital screens at the Türk Telekom building and Atakule, one of the capital’s iconic landmarks.
Istanbul’s July 15 Martyrs’ Bridge was likewise illuminated in the colors of the three participating countries’ flags in connection with the agreement.
Under the agreement, an armed attack against any one of the three countries will be treated as an attack against all three, reinforcing collective deterrence and defense cooperation between the countries.
Content created specifically for the agreement was shown at the Galata Tower.
They declared a "shared commitment to further strengthening their collective security and to promoting peace, security and stability in the region and beyond."
Similar displays could also be seen in Islamabad, Pakistan, where billboards marking the agreement lined the roadside alongside the flags of the three countries.
