Turkish Defense Industry Chairman praises Tayfun test success

Presidency of Defense Industries (SSB) Chairman Haluk Gorgun stated on Friday that "the sky once again witnessed the nation's will with the successful test."

"Our Tayfun Missile, through the successful test fire conducted, has crossed another threshold that expands the horizon of our security and strengthens our deterrence. In this process, we continue to add new systems to our inventory and strengthen our deterrence through multi-layered and domestic-national solutions," Gorgun said.

Gorgun elaborated on the significance of the achievement, stating, "This success is not merely a missile hitting its target, but the proud certification of a long journey woven with the labor of our engineering, the intelligence of our youth, and the unshakeable determination of our nation."

"Each rise is a line of confidence drawn across the skies of this sacred homeland. Each hit is the strong voice of Türkiye's will to protect its own sky dome with its own hands," he added.

SSB Chairman Gorgun expressed appreciation for the teams involved, saying, "I sincerely thank our Roketsan family and all our colleagues, from engineers to technicians, who contributed to this critical success."

"The high capability demonstrated is a concrete indicator of Türkiye's determination to protect its future. Türkiye continues to move forward with each step more confident, stronger, and more resolute," he concluded.
