The death toll in Iran from attacks carried out by Israel and the United States has risen to 1,332, according to the Iranian Red Crescent.
In a statement released Friday, the organization said the number of people killed since the attacks began last week continues to rise as the conflict enters its seventh day.
Iranian Red Crescent President Hossein Kolivand said that since the first day of the strikes, 3,464 civilian buildings have been targeted.
Of those, 3,090 were residential properties, Kolivand said, adding that 528 commercial and service centers were also damaged.
The attacks also damaged 21 hospitals or pharmacies and nine Red Crescent facilities, he said.
Kolivand emphasized that the locations struck were “mostly residential areas.”
Israel and the United States have been carrying out attacks on Iran since Feb. 28, killing hundreds of people, including Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and several senior security officials.
Tehran has responded with missile and drone strikes targeting Israel.
Iran has also carried out attacks on what it described as “American interests” in Arab countries, causing casualties and damaging civilian infrastructure, including ports and residential buildings.
