Iran’s Revolutionary Guards said Thursday they had carried out attacks targeting Israel as well as U.S. sites in the United Arab Emirates, Iraq and Kuwait.
“The gathering place of American forces on Sheikh Zayed Road (Dubai) and the location of American forces at Ahmad Al-Jaber Airport (Kuwait) were targeted,” the Guards said in a statement published by the Sepah News website.
“The residence of American marines at Al-Dhafra base (UAE) and the mobile American bases in Iraq, along with the gathering place of Zionist executioners in Tel Aviv have been struck,” it added.
Meanwhile, Qatar said Thursday that its armed forces intercepted a missile targeting the Gulf country amid escalating attacks between the United States and Iran.
The Qatari Defense Ministry said the missile was successfully shot down but did not provide details about casualties or damage.
The developments come as the conflict in the Middle East intensifies following joint U.S. and Israeli airstrikes on Iran launched on Feb. 28.
According to Iranian authorities, the attacks have killed about 1,300 people and injured more than 10,000 others.
Iran has retaliated with drone and missile strikes targeting Israel, Iraq and several Gulf countries hosting U.S. military assets.
