Israeli fighter jets carried out at least eight airstrikes on Hezbollah positions in southern Lebanon on Sunday, targeting underground facilities and infrastructure linked to the group, according to local reports and the Israeli army.
Residents reported bombings in the Ali-Taher district near the city of Nabatiyeh, where Hezbollah is believed to operate an underground command post.
The strikes also damaged a section of the Kfar Tibnit–Hardali highway in the south.

Additional airstrikes were reported in Arab al-Salim, Arnun, Yahmur al-Shqif, and Habbush, as well as the mountainous regions of Jebel Reyhan and Iqlim al-Tufah, where Hezbollah units are thought to maintain shelters and ammunition depots.
Casualty or damage assessments were not immediately available.
The Israeli army confirmed the strikes, saying it hit “military infrastructure, including underground infrastructure, at a Hezbollah site in which military activity was identified, in the area of the Beaufort Ridge in southern Lebanon.”
