Israeli Knesset member Ofer Cassif and Israeli peace activists and demonstrators gathered in Tel Aviv on Saturday to protest violence by Israeli illegal settlers against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank.
Protesters carried signs in Hebrew, Arabic, and English with messages including "No nation that occupies another people can ever be free," "We will not kill or die for the settlements," and "The genocide continues."
Demonstrators also called for an immediate ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, an end to the humanitarian crisis, and a halt to violence against Palestinians in the occupied West Bank.
Protesters in Tel Aviv stated that not everyone supports the attacks on Iran, predicting their movement will grow as the war continues.
Meanwhile, overnight Israeli strikes on Gaza hit multiple residential buildings, including the medical supplies and pharmaceuticals warehouse of Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital and killed at least eight people, authorities said Sunday despite Hamas saying it had agreed to the latest stage of a deal to end the war.
In one attack near central Gaza, a man and his wife were killed, and several others wounded when an Israeli military helicopter struck an apartment, a civil defence spokesman said.
An elderly man and a child were killed in another strike on an apartment west of Gaza City, and three people, including a child, were killed when a strike hit another apartment northwest of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip.
Israel has yet to officially comment on the agreement, but a political source has told Agence France-Presse (AFP) that “there will be no withdrawal whatsoever" without Hamas' "genuine disarmament."
