Türkiye’s National Intelligence Organization (MIT) has eliminated Murvet Gulsever, a senior member of the PKK/YPG terrorist group’s women’s wing, PAJK, in the Iraqi city of Sulaymaniyah.

Gulsever’s background, role in PKK/YPG terrorist organization

According to security sources, Gulsever, known by the alias “Jiyan Herdem,” joined the PKK/YPG terrorist organization in 1992, initially engaging in the group’s rural operations. Over the years, she developed close ties with the terrorist group’s senior leadership, playing a significant role within its women’s wing, PAJK.

Gulsever was involved in high-profile activities, including the issuing of execution orders for PKK/YPG terrorists accused of espionage.

Her activities placed her on MIT’s target list, with intelligence suggesting her presence in the rural Pencevin area near the Iranian border in Sulaymaniyah.
