Real Madrid midfielder Arda Guler is likely to miss the remainder of the 2025–26 season after picking up a muscle injury in his right leg during Real Madrid’s La Liga match against Alaves.
The 21-year-old was forced to leave the pitch in the 58th minute after experiencing discomfort. Subsequent medical examinations confirmed a strain in the biceps femoris muscle, located in the hamstring region of his right leg.
Real Madrid’s medical team stated that tests revealed a muscular problem in the biceps femoris area, with the player set to undergo further evaluation during his recovery process.
While reports suggest the injury is expected to rule Guler out for the remainder of the season, he would likely miss Real Madrid’s final La Liga fixtures, including key matches against Real Betis, Espanyol, Barcelona, Real Oviedo, Sevilla, and Atletico Madrid.
Despite the setback, the Turkish international is expected to recover in time for the next international cycle, with hopes of returning for Türkiye ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Guler has had a productive season for Real Madrid, recording six goals and 14 assists in 50 appearances across all competitions.
