Arda Guler's reaction to a decision by teammate Vinicius Junior drew attention during Real Madrid's 2-1 defeat to Atletico Madrid in the Spanish capital derby.
The moment came in the 31st minute as Real Madrid broke forward on a quick attack. Guler moved into open space on the right and appeared available for a pass, but Vinicius pulled the ball back and instead played it toward Kylian Mbappe on his left.
Atletico Madrid's defense stepped in and cleared the danger, while cameras captured Guler reacting visibly toward his Brazilian teammate after the move broke down.
Real Madrid's situation became more difficult early in the second half when Dean Huijsen was sent off in the 52nd minute, leaving the visitors with 10 players.
Atletico Madrid went ahead one minute later through Alejandro Grimaldo's penalty before Jonathan David doubled the lead in the 59th minute.
Guler, who had started the match for Real Madrid, was taken off in the 54th minute and replaced by Antonio Rudiger.
Rudiger later pulled one back for Real Madrid in the 89th minute, but Atletico held on to complete a 2-1 derby victory.
