Besiktas will host Czech side Hradec Kralove in the second leg of their UEFA Europa League third qualifying-round tie, carrying a 1-0 advantage into the match as the Istanbul club looks to move on to the playoff round.
The match will kick off at 8 p.m. at Tupras Stadium and will be broadcast live on S Sport. Swiss referee Urs Schnyder will take charge, assisted by twin brothers Marco Zurcher and Benjamin Zurcher.
Besiktas won the opening leg 1-0 away from home, meaning any victory or draw in the return fixture will be enough to send the black-and-whites through.
Besiktas heads into the match having kept clean sheets in all three of its competitive fixtures this season under Vincenzo Italiano.
The Istanbul side beat Midtjylland 1-0 and 2-0 before shutting out Hradec Kralove in the first leg. The performances of Tiago Djalo and Emirhan Topcu in defense, together with important saves from goalkeeper Alexander Nubel, have helped Besiktas keep opponents off the scoresheet.
The only player unavailable for the return leg is Kassoum Ouattara, who was sent off after receiving a second yellow card in the first match and will serve his suspension.
With Besiktas holding a one-goal advantage from the opening encounter, any win or draw will take the Turkish club into the Europa League playoff round.
A one-goal victory for Hradec Kralove would send the match into extra time, while a Czech victory by two or more goals would eliminate Besiktas from the competition.
If Besiktas makes it through, it will face Lithuanian side Kauno Zalgiris in the playoff round. Kauno Zalgiris dropped out of Champions League qualifying after losing both matches against Dinamo Zagreb, 5-0 and 2-1.
Should Besiktas be knocked out by Hradec Kralove, its European campaign would continue in the UEFA Conference League playoff round.
In that scenario, Besiktas would take on Panathinaikos, which advanced past CSKA 1948 after results of 1-1 and 2-1 in the previous qualifying round.
