After coming away empty-handed from both the Super Lig and the Turkish Cup, Besiktas has reportedly turned its attention to Italian winger Riccardo Orsolini, who currently plays for Bologna.
According to a report by Fanatik, the Black Eagles are closely monitoring the 29-year-old player as part of their transfer plans ahead of the new season.
Besiktas is expected to send a club representative to Bologna’s upcoming match against Cagliari to keep tabs on Orsolini and assess his situation more closely.
The reported interest comes as Orsolini has yet to make concrete progress in contract renewal talks with Bologna, a situation that is said to have strengthened the possibility of a transfer.
As Besiktas looks to bounce back after failing to secure silverware in domestic competitions, the Istanbul-based club appears to be weighing up options to reinforce its attacking line, with Orsolini emerging as one of the latest names on its radar.
Orsolini featured in 49 matches this season, contributing 12 goals and one assist for the Serie A side.
