Galatasaray is preparing to make a €50 million offer for Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes as the Turkish club looks to bring in a world-class name, although the Premier League side has made it clear that the Portuguese midfielder is not for sale.
According to the BBC, Galatasaray is getting ready to approach Manchester United with an official €50 million bid for Fernandes, while club president Dursun Ozbek is reportedly determined to bring the player into the squad.
The Telegraph reported that Galatasaray is also prepared to offer Fernandes an annual net salary of €21 million, along with a €4 million signing bonus, underlining the scale of the financial package being put together for the midfielder.
The Istanbul club is continuing its transfer work ahead of the new season and views Fernandes as a high-profile addition who could strengthen the squad with an internationally established player.
Despite Galatasaray's willingness to move ahead with a significant offer, Manchester United is not considering letting Fernandes go, according to the reports.
The English club's position is that Fernandes is not for sale at any price, leaving a clear gap between Galatasaray's attempt to push through a deal and Manchester United's stance on the player's future.
