Fenerbahce Beko will head into the EuroLeague Final Four in Athens with a clear target: defending its title and becoming a European champion for the third time.
The Final Four, the season-ending stage where the last four teams compete for the EuroLeague title, will take place in the Greek capital from May 22 to 24.
Fenerbahce will compete alongside Real Madrid, Valencia Basket and Olympiacos, as the Turkish club looks to hold on to the crown it won last season.
The Istanbul side has already played four EuroLeague finals, winning its first title in 2017 and adding a second in 2025. This year, Fenerbahce will try to turn another Final Four appearance into a third championship.
Fenerbahce Beko has become one of the regular names associated with the EuroLeague Final Four.
The yellow-and-navy team has reached the last four in eight of the past 11 seasons, including the last three campaigns in a row. Its recent run includes appearances in 2014-15, 2015-16, 2016-17, 2017-18, 2018-19, 2023-24, 2024-25 and now 2025-26.
That consistency has helped Fenerbahce build up a strong European profile.
Fenerbahce finished the EuroLeague regular season in fourth place after winning 24 of its 38 games.
The team made a slow start, picking up only three wins in its first eight matches. It then bounced back strongly, losing just twice across a 21-game stretch, before closing the regular season with a difficult run in which it lost seven of its final nine games.
In the playoffs, Fenerbahce matched up with Zalgiris and moved ahead by winning the first two games in Istanbul.
Zalgiris responded in Kaunas, but Fenerbahce came through a tense fourth game that went to overtime, winning the series 3-1 and booking its place in Athens.
Talen Horton Tucker and Wade Baldwin are expected to play important roles for Fenerbahce at the Final Four.
Although this is Horton Tucker’s first EuroLeague season, he has adapted quickly and given Fenerbahce an important attacking option with his physical strength, ability to drive to the basket and one-on-one scoring. He has averaged 15.7 points across 41 appearances.
Baldwin, in his second season with Fenerbahce, has often taken on a leadership role. He has averaged 14.1 points in 41 games, while also standing out with his defensive contribution.
Tarik Biberovic is expected to remain important from beyond the three-point line, while Nicolo Melli will be central around the basket and on defensive rebounds.
Head coach Sarunas Jasikevicius will take part in his seventh EuroLeague Final Four as a coach.
The Lithuanian first reached this stage with Zalgiris in 2018, before guiding Barcelona to the Final Four in 2021, 2022 and 2023. He has now led Fenerbahce to the same stage in each of the last three seasons.
Jasikevicius won his only EuroLeague title as a head coach with Fenerbahce last season. As a player, he won the competition four times.
Fenerbahce Beko will face Olympiacos in the semifinal, with a place in the EuroLeague final at stake.
Olympiacos finished the regular season at the top of the standings, making the semifinal a major test for the defending champion. The two teams have already met twice at the Final Four.
Fenerbahce beat Olympiacos 80-64 in the 2017 final in Istanbul to win its first EuroLeague title. The Greek side later defeated Fenerbahce 87-84 in the third-place game during the 2023-24 season.
