Fenerbahce Beko basketball team has added American guard-forward Brandon Boston Jr. to its squad on a one-year deal. The Istanbul-based club stated that it wished the 23-year-old player a season “full of victories” in the yellow-and-navy jersey.
Boston began his career with the Kentucky Wildcats in the NCAA, the main college basketball league in the United States.
He entered the 2021 NBA Draft, where he was selected 51st overall in the second round by the Memphis Grizzlies and was then traded to the Los Angeles Clippers.
The young player spent three seasons with the Clippers before moving to the New Orleans Pelicans for the 2024-2025 season. Last season, he appeared in 42 NBA games, averaging around 24 minutes on the court with 10.7 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 1.3 steals per game.
Boston also spent time in the NBA G League with Ontario Clippers and Birmingham Squadron, gaining additional experience before his move to Europe.
