Fenerbahce has officially confirmed that they have entered negotiations with U.S.-based food giant Chobani regarding stadium naming rights and front-of-shirt sponsorship for European competitions.
In a statement to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), the club announced that talks are underway for a partnership that could mark one of the most significant commercial deals in Türkiye’s football history.
Though no official figures have been shared, multiple sources suggest that the deal may be worth around €100 million ($117 million) over five years. The agreement would include both naming rights for the stadium and European kit sponsorship, with Chobani reportedly set to pay €20 million per year.
Chobani was founded in 2005 by Turkish-American entrepreneur Hamdi Ulukaya. The company rose to prominence with its Greek-style yogurt and has since expanded into plant-based beverages, protein snacks, and other health-focused products.
With more than $2 billion in annual revenue and a major market share in the US, Chobani has also expanded into Australia and New Zealand.
Ulukaya, born in eastern Türkiye, has often spoken about his lifelong support for Fenerbahce. He is also known to be close friends with Fenerbahce president Ali Koc.
The possible sponsorship deal would be the first major sports partnership for Chobani in Türkiye, combining business goals with Ulukaya’s emotional ties to the club.
