Fenerbahce, determined to start the new season with a championship goal, has intensified its efforts to sign star players. While club officials are working on multiple options, a notable claim has emerged about their primary target.
According to Turkish media reports, Fenerbahce has made an offer for a key Tottenham player, with the transfer process reaching an important stage.
The player Fenerbahce is interested in is reportedly Tottenham’s 28-year-old Malian midfielder Yves Bissouma. The club plans to apply the same approach they used last season with Sofyan Amrabat—offering Tottenham a loan deal with a purchase option.
Although Tottenham prefers a direct sale of Bissouma, they might be open to a loan with a mandatory purchase option proposal.
Official talks between the two clubs are expected to begin after the holiday period.
Bissouma’s market value is estimated at €25 million ($28.59 million). Fenerbahce is said to be offering a €5 million loan fee, with a €15 million purchase option included in the contract.
This season, the midfielder has appeared in 44 matches and scored two goals.
