Türkiye’s Fenerbahce is reportedly seeking to part ways with 21-year-old Colombian striker Jhon Duran by the end of the season, as his loan agreement expires following a spell marked by injuries and limited playing time.
According to the Uruguay-based sports daily Bolavip, the Yellow Canaries are not interested in renewing the loan or pursuing a permanent transfer due to his limited performance so far.
Since arriving in Istanbul, Duran has made just six appearances for Fenerbahce across the Turkish Super Lig and Champions League qualifiers, registering one goal and one assist in 328 minutes of play while missing nine matches due to injury.
Duran, who joined Fenerbahce on loan from Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr during the summer transfer window, has struggled to make an impact since suffering an injury in the UEFA Champions League play-off second leg against Portugal’s Benfica.
Despite resuming individual training this week, he has yet to return fully to team activities.
Several Premier League teams are said to be monitoring Duran’s situation and preparing offers for the Colombian striker.
Before his move to Saudi Arabia, he had drawn attention from major European clubs, including Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona, Chelsea, and Manchester United.
While his stint in Türkiye has been affected by recurring injuries, his earlier career achievements—notably his prolific spell at Aston Villa in the English Premier League and his 12 goals in 18 matches for Al-Nassr—continue to attract interest from top European clubs.
According to Transfermarkt, Duran has a market value of €35 million ($40.81 million), while his previous transfer from Aston Villa to Al-Nassr was completed for around €77 million.
