Erzurum hosts global snowboarding talent

At the awards ceremony, Zafer Aynali, secretary general of Erzurum Metropolitan Municipality, expressed his pleasure at hosting world-class athletes in Erzurum.

He highlighted the city’s emergence as a prominent hub for winter sports, noting that the 2011 Winter Universiade marked the beginning of Erzurum’s international recognition.

“Today, as last year, we are proud to host the SBX Snowboard World Cup for the second time. I wish all athletes success in the three-day competition,” Aynali stated, inviting the public to attend the finals on Sunday.
