Galatasaray is reportedly planning to part ways with experienced players Ilkay Gundogan and Kaan Ayhan during the mid-season transfer period, with both footballers receiving very limited playing time this season.
Journalist Nevzat Dindar reported that the Istanbul club expects the two players to leave during the winter transfer window as Galatasaray reshapes its squad for the second half of the campaign.
Gundogan has featured in two official matches for Galatasaray this season but has played only 11 minutes in total.
Kaan Ayhan has seen even less action, making his only appearance of the season against Corum FK. He came on in the 89th minute and spent just one minute on the pitch.
The limited playing time of both players has now been followed by reports that Galatasaray could move on from the pair when the mid-season transfer period opens.
