Galatasaray continues its search for a replacement for Fernando Muslera, and a major transfer rumor has emerged. The 25-year-old Croatian goalkeeper Dominik Kotarski is reportedly set to succeed Muslera.
According to reports, the goalkeeper himself stated, “I’m going to Galatasaray.”
After 14 years, Fernando Muslera’s long tenure at Galatasaray has come to an end.
The club’s management has been actively seeking a new goalkeeper to fill the gap left by the Uruguayan veteran.
Meanwhile, Galatasaray is said to have identified Muslera’s alternative.
According to Turkish media, Galatasaray aims to sign Dominik Kotarski, the 25-year-old Croatian goalkeeper currently playing for PAOK.
The report indicates that Kotarski told Greek media, “Ben Galatasaray’a gidiyorum,” a statement later confirmed by a Greek journalist.
Kotarski’s ball-handling skills have been highlighted, and given his age, the transfer is considered a strategic long-term move.
PAOK signed Kotarski from Gorica three years ago for 2 million euros. He is under contract with the Greek club until summer 2028.
